You know, I think we often fail to receive even a fraction of the blessings that God has in store for us on daily basis. I constantly have to remind myself that the Bible gives us but a picture of the things that God has done and is still doing. I do believe that we can find the complete essence of God in scripture. But, sometimes, we can trap ourselves by praising and adoring our God only for the things that we read about in the Bible.
It is so obvious that God's miracles and blessings are a daily occurence. If we tried to account for every great thing that God has done all the days of creation, I think even the greatest statitician in the world would get violently nauseated. He has so much more than we have ever read about.
The secret is that we can know about the things He does every day. If we think for just a moment, we would have to realize that the people we meet, the relationships that we build, the fact of our existence, and the life we live are no accident. They are blessings from almighty God. I strongly believe that He performs miracles and blessings all the and we miss most of them. I am so grateful for the miracles we read about in the Bible, but my relationship with Him is far greater when I am seeking His works today.
He's working hard. Just look around.
